I think that is correct for this feature. I wonder if adding a BD player to your computer would support this feature since the computer would already have Internet connectivity.

Can you set up a wireless LAN and connect a wireless Ethernet adapter to the BD player? That way you would be able to connect to your Internet without moving the BD player although you would give up...
